They say the days are long but the years are short.  Being mummy to a 4 year old boy and a 10 month old little girl I can agree to this!  Almost overnight your little ones seem to have grown an inch, lost a roll of chub off their thighs or their first tooth has come through.  This is why I love photographs.  The ability to capture a moment, to record the memory and help it last a lifetime.  I can offer you the chance to display those memories in beautiful frames or canvases for your home.  I am based in Lindfield, Haywards Heath in the heart of West Sussex.

From the curve of your beautiful bump (for a maternity photo shoot), to those very early days of your newborn's life which can pass in a haze of love and exhaustion and onwards to first birthdays or sibling shoots. I specialise in making beautiful pieces of fine art for your home.

I operate differently. There is no fee to come and take your photos and I will do so in the comfort of your own home. I am a Lindfield, Haywards Heath, West Sussex based newborn photographer but will travel across Sussex and into Surrey. This is especially important for those precious newborn days.  Mummy is much more relaxed, and therefore so is baby making it easier to capture those sleepy curled up newborn images.  I like my images to speak for themselves so you only pay for the framed images, canvases or framed impressions (hand/feet casts) that you choose.  Everything is hand delivered to your home and ready for you to hang on the wall.

A newborn photo shoot is best when baby is between 3 and 10 days new to capture the sleepy, curled up poses from baby’s time in mummy's womb.  Ideally, book after your 20-week scan to reserve your space in my diary, we will keep in touch and then you contact me once baby is here to confirm the time.  Baby's comfort and safety is at the heart of my session with you and so to allow time for feeds and cuddles newborn photographs usually take between 2-3 hours.

Siblings are more than welcome, and it is wonderful to be able to incorporate them into the photos.  I love to photograph bigger little people too!  Having an active and cheeky 4 year old I can understand any concern about them not sitting still or smiling, so I have lots of tricks to make them giggle! Children's portrait photos look great hanging in the family home or for gifts for Grandparents.

Those teeny tiny fingers and toes grow quicker than you can imagine so we offer an impression service so you can coo over them forever!  It is quick, safe and every little line and crease are captured forever.  The youngest baby was just 6hrs new! Combining prints and casts makes for very special keepsakes.

If before your little person makes an appearance you wish to record your blossoming bump with a maternity photo shoot, the best time is between 33-36 weeks pregnant.  If you feel self-conscious please do not worry as there are many ways we capture the bump and, if you wish, edit out any marks or blemishes.

I am also a member of Baby and Newborn Photography Association (BANPAS), which supports baby and newborn photographers across the UK and promotes safe working practices.

Whether you are looking for maternity, newborn or family photographs in West Sussex I look forward to meeting you and creating beautiful images and keepsakes for you and your family in a calm, friendly and fun environment.
